I’ll be posting my own work here for people who are interested. This will be largely book covers, as this is the nature of this site, for more of my design work go to www.kstonedesign.com
I really like how this cover turned out, has the right feeling of foreboding and danger.
This went through a couple of rounds, I wanted to really capture the Spirit of Andrei Cordrescu's book and I thought it would be fun to play off of his "exquisite corpse" online journal, by making an exquisite corpse cover. Marrying the two images, the classical greek muse with the more profane belly baring, lo-rise jeans wearing bottom.
You know, there aren't a lot of civil war stock photos out there, so it forces you to be clever.
A cover I did for the re-issue of the 1938 WPA New Orleans City Guide. I feel this cover pays proper homage to the age of the book. I've included the full cover, so you can see how in the paperback edition, it apes a bound book.
Cover for the ebook edition I did I also illustrated the interior as well
This cover for an ebook was comissioned RIGHT after the Deepwater Horizon accident off the coast of New Orleans, so timely.
